FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
What a team usually asks before moving its work into Oprex. If yours is not here, write to us and a person replies.
Getting started
What is Oprex?
One workspace for a whole team: chat, calls and meetings, email, documents, Sketchi whiteboards, projects, CRM, HR and payroll, finance, and Askini, an AI assistant. One sign-in, one place to look, one bill.
How do I start a trial?
Fill in the trial form with your name, your company and the address you want, such as yourcompany.oprex.net. We set the workspace up and email you, usually within a working day.
How long is the trial, and what is in it?
Fourteen days, counted from the day your workspace is ready, with the whole product. Bring real work into it rather than a sandbox.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Nothing is charged during the trial, and there is nothing to cancel if you decide not to continue.
How do we bring our existing work in?
You bring it in yourselves: invite your people, connect the mailboxes you already have so your email is there from the first day, and upload your files. We do not move data in for you.
What happens when the trial ends?
We email you before it ends. If no plan has been chosen, the workspace is paused a few days later. Nothing is deleted, and it reopens as soon as a plan is in place.
Pricing and payment
How is Oprex priced?
Per person, by the month or by the year; a year costs ten months. You pay for the people you have, with no minimum. The pricing page shows each plan and what it includes.
Which currency will we pay in?
Egyptian pounds in Egypt, Saudi riyals in the Gulf, and US dollars everywhere else.
How do we pay?
For now we arrange payment with you directly: tell us the plan and the number of people, and we send you the details. Paying online by card is on its way.
What are add-ons?
People, CRM and Finance, added to Starter or Business for a dollar a person each, for a team that needs one of them without moving to Suite, which has all three.
Can we change plan or the number of people later?
Yes, whenever you like. Tell us and we change it.
Do prices include tax?
No. Prices exclude tax, which is added where it applies.
The product
Do we have to use every module?
No. Switch on only what you need and the rest stay out of the sidebar. You can turn any of them on later.
Can we keep our email addresses?
Yes. Oprex connects to the mailboxes you already have, with the same addresses and the same mail server, and you read and send from inside the workspace.
Are there documents, spreadsheets and slides?
Yes. Documents, spreadsheets and presentations are made and edited in the workspace, beside Sketchi whiteboards and shared files.
Does Oprex work in Arabic?
Yes. The whole workspace works in Arabic and English, laid out right to left in Arabic, and each person chooses their own language.
Can we search everything at once?
Yes. One search finds messages, documents, tasks, people and more across the workspace, and opens the exact record.
Calls and meetings
What can calls do?
Voice and video, screen sharing, breakout rooms and live captions, from the browser, the desktop app or a phone.
Are calls recorded?
Calls are transcribed and summarised when they end, so you keep a written record. The video itself is not recorded.
Can people outside the company join?
Yes. Send them a guest link and they join from their browser, without an account.
Can clients book time with us?
Yes. Each person can share a booking page where a client picks a free slot, and it lands in their calendar.
Askini
What is Askini?
The assistant built into the workspace. It answers questions about your work, drafts messages and emails, and summarises calls and long conversations.
Is Askini on every plan?
It comes with the plans the pricing page says include it, with a daily allowance that grows with the number of people on your plan.
Security
Who can see what?
Roles decide every action, people see only what is shared with them, and an audit log records who did what, and when.
Is our data kept apart from other companies?
Yes. Each workspace has databases of its own, not rows in a table shared with other customers.
Is there two-factor sign-in?
Not for workspaces yet. Passwords need 12 characters with upper and lower case, a number and a symbol, and repeated wrong tries lock an account for a while. The security page lists what is in place.
Will you answer our security questionnaire?
Yes. Send it from the contact page and choose Security.
Apps
Is there a phone app?
Yes, for Android, with calls, chat and notifications. On other phones the workspace works in the browser.
Is there a desktop app?
Yes, for Windows, and it can be downloaded from the home page. On Mac and Linux, use the browser.
Which browsers are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Support
How do we get help?
Write to us from the contact page or the chat on this site. Every message gets a reference number and a person replies. Workspace owners can also raise a ticket from inside the workspace.
How quickly do you reply?
Usually within a working day.
